Course Description

The Barnes Foundation is one of the world's largest collections of modern European paintings with numerous works by Renoir, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, and Modigliani. Dr. Albert C. Barnes collected these works between 1912-1951, arranging them into "ensembles" alongside African masks, Native American jewelry, and decorative metalwork. We will be taking a guided highlights tour and then you may explore the museum on your own. Fees include round-trip transportation from Harford Community College, admission to the Barnes Foundation and a guided tour. All meals are on your own.
