Course Description

This course will introduce students to the basic skills, equipment, and accessories of welding. This class includes basic safety practices, understanding welding symbols, and hands-on welding training. Students will learn about all types of welding: Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW or MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW or TIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW or Stick), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Oxyfuel Cutting (OFC). Metal and safety equipment will be supplied.
