Course Description

For those interested in pursuing a career as a heavy equipment operator, this course will prepare you with introductory skills and knowledge of earth moving, grades, and utility tractors. Students will use the simulators to see how this is done on the jobsite. This course will also cover identification of construction stakes and interpretation of marks on each type of stake. An essential course that describes the duties and responsibilities of a heavy equipment operator. Textbook purchase required and in the college store.
