Course Description

This is the first of four core classes that will provide a thorough introduction to the trade and cover heavy equipment safety, identification, and basic operational techniques, including how to safely start, move, steer, stop and shut down different types of machines. Using simulators, students will have hands-on experience in these areas. Textbook purchase required and in the college store.
