Course Description

Safety and the basic fundamentals of electricity are needed to understand the function and operation of HVAC systems. In this hands-on, performance-based training program, the participant will learn the electric and electronic controls used in connection with mechanical systems and gain a working knowledge of the basic concepts of electricity. The participant will be able to systematically implement procedures to analyze HVAC electrical system operation. Must take Basic Refrigeration or have instructor approval prior to taking this class.
