Course Description

This course prepares students to take the Maryland Home Improvement License Examination. A secondary objective is to familiarize students with the home improvement contractor business. Topics include home improvement law, the Door-to-Door Sales Act, labor laws, safety regulations, payroll taxes, statutory liens of real property, business practices, finances, and cost estimating.
