Course Description

Gain the opportunity to launch your career as an entry-level medical office professional! During this "real world" experience, you will build professional relationships and demonstrate the technical skills you learned in the classroom. The externship consists of a supervised, individually scheduled, forty-hour clinical assignment in a healthcare facility. Prerequisite: Medical Office Processes, Medical Office I, and Computer Basics for Allied Health . No textbook required. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.
