Course Description

Using virtual reality and other in class materials and training, students will learn the basic skills needed to start a career in Automotive Service. Students will learn the tools, terminology, parts, and processes for basic maintenance and light repairs. This course must be taken with Auto Service Shop Training where students will also gain hands-on experience in automotive repair. These two courses lead to students taking the ASE Basic Exam for Maintenance and Light Repairs.
