Course Description

This course is designed for a learner whose primary language is not English. Students at this level will engage in activities to meet the National Reporting Standard Functional Level Six. Student will participate in reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar at an advanced ESL level. Students participate in conversations, extended discussions and written exchanges about a range of topics, texts and issues. Use a wide variety of academic and content-specific words and phrases. Employ both formal and informal styles and tones effectively in spoken and written texts as appropriate. Participate in appropriate levels of testing.
