Course Description

Acquire the basic computer skills required for employment as an Allied Health professional. Learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Windows, file management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. Along with learning the basic components of the computer, students will learn to navigate the desktop; store and retrieve files; create, save and print a Word document; work with formulas and tables in an Excel spreadsheet; and create and modify an Access database. Purchase of textbook and USB flash drive required. Senior adult and disabled retiree course fee waivers apply. Transcript available.
