Course Description

This course teaches the basics of enjoyable, safe scuba diving through academic and water skills training. You will learn the importance of equipment and safe diving physics and physiology, and marine life and oceanography under the guidance of your certified professional instructor. Students need to have basic swimming skills, be reasonably fit, and be at least 16 years of age. After successful completion of this course, you will be a SDI certified Scuba Diver. Students must purchase or own the basic gear required for this class, which includes mask, snorkel, fins, and booties. (Items can be provided by instructor at a substantial discount). Checkout dives will be held at local quarry. (Fee not included)
