Course Description

Join us on a guided tour of Cambridge, MD where Araminta Ross lived and worked until age 27 when she escaped to freedom. We begin our day learning about her early years, visiting her childhood home and the Bucktown General Store, as well as the Courthouse and Long Wharf. There will be time for photos in front of the Take My Hand Mural before visiting the Stanley Institute and the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center. We finish our day with an all you can eat crab feast. Fees include round-trip transportation aboard a motor coach, guided 4.5 hour tour, admission tickets and lunch.
