Course Description

This is the first class required to complete the Blackjack and Carnival Games course. Lessons will include an introduction to casino operations, rules and regulations. Students will learn proper placement, shuffling and dealing of cards. Proper procedures of handling cash, to include taking and paying hands. Definitions of popular casino games terminology will be discussed. By the completion of class 1 and 2, students will become proficient in dealing the following games: Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, and other carnival games. Students must enroll in the 1st and 2nd course that take place on the same days and times during the week. Senior Adult and Disabled Retiree Waivers Apply. Transcript available.
