A Building Maintenance Technician is a  "jack of all trades," maintaining and managing numerous systems in various types of buildings. This program is designed to help students learn to handle electrical, heating and air conditioning, carpentry, and plumbing repairs and to perform routine maintenance. This provides the skills to ensure that machines run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical conditions of buildings is kept up . 

Must take Basic Refrigeration or have instructor approval before taking Preparation for Refrigerant Recovery. Must be 18. Tenth grade reading level required.
