Dog Grooming (Professional Dog Grooming Program)

In partnership with Groom Curriculum, we offer a program that presents lessons taught by American Kennel Club (AKC) verified instructors. The Dog Grooming Program is a hybrid program that offers tailored lessons using an online Learning Management System (LMS) and hands-on training. The curriculum meets industry and academic standards and prepares students for the AKC Professional Grooming Credential (AKC PGC) Exam. The exam can be taken after all courses have been completed. There are 4 required courses, which includes Animal First Aid and CPR as a pre-requisite course. Students must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Technical standards apply- Students must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and able to stand for long periods of time.
