Computer Support Tech 1 (of 4)


In level one of the CST series, participants will learn to identify and repair computer hardware, find and add devices to a network, and learn DHCP & DNS basics. This course culminates with participants using these acquired skills to build a LAN and troubleshoot for issues. Level one includes three hands on labs: Hardware lab, DHCP & DNS lab, and build a LAN lab. CST I and II's curriculum covers the exam objectives for the CompTIA A+ Core One Exam. A Core One exam voucher is included in the tuition. Students will have the opportunity to take this exam at the end of CST 1 & 2.

Computer Support Tech 2(of 4)


In level two of the CST series, participants will learn and practice troubleshooting methodology to advance their troubleshooting skills. Participants will begin exploring operating systems and using virtual machines. Level 2 includes three hands on labs: Hypervisors & VM, OS & IP, and Peripherals & Connectivity. Upon completion of this course, participants will gain the following skills:  installing, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems, assigning IP addresses to devices on a network, installing, configuring, and utilizing a virtual machine. CST 1 and 2's curriculum covers the exam objectives for the CompTIA A+ Core One Exam. Students will have the opportunity to take this exam at the end of CST 1 & 2.

Computer Support Tech 3(of 4)

In level three of the CST series, participants will learn more about operating systems and system vulnerabilities. MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems will be compared. Participants will build on their OS troubleshooting skills and will begin to explore tools used to monitor systems, including Microsoft Exchange. The course concludes with an introduction to the security concepts covered in CST 3. 

Computer Support Tech 4(of 4)

In level four of the CST series, participants will use their cumulated knowledge to advance into more challenging troubleshooting scenarios and go deeper into command line usage. Upon completion of this course, graduates will depart with guidance on documentation best practices and professionalism in the field. This course includes three hand-on labs: command line & scripting, Ticket writing & documentation, and securing systems. Upon completion of levels 3 & 4, participants will have the opportunity to take the CompTIA A+ core two exam. A Core Two exam voucher is included in the tuition.
