Course Description

Create functional and artistic ceramics building hand formed clay pieces in the classroom studio. Hand building methods and glazing techniques will be introduced.  Students will prepare their work for firing in an electric kiln. No prior experience required.  Please bring pottery tools which may be purchased at College Store, apron, large piece of heavy canvas or hard surface to work on, small tray to hold work, ruler, spray bottle, clean up sponge.  Course fee includes instruction, clay and selected glazes.
