Travelers must submit a digital liability form
We start this three-day trip at the historic Jamestown Settlement. You'll be able to have lunch on your own before the guided tour at the onsite cafe. Learn about the Indigenous People of Virginia who occupied this landscape for centuries, then hear about the arrival of the English colonists in 1607 plus the first documented arrival of West Central Africans in 1619. This living history destination has indoor and outdoor spaces to explore! That evening, we will check into the Williamsburg Lodge for a two-night stay. Dinner reservations have been made at a historic tavern, called Shield's Tavern. Harken back to the indulgent feasts of the 18th century with hearty, flavorful dishes featuring local and traditional flavor. The later part of the night will be an illuminating experience at Newport News Park. Sit back and enjoy the Celebration In Lights with a two mile drive through spectacular animated scenes. Day two includes a guided walking tour in the Colonial Williamsburg historic district, starting with the Governor's Palace. That evening, the Grand Illumination festivities begin at 5pm with the fife and drum processions then fireworks! The final day of the trip will be spent in Yorktown, as we tour the American Revolution Museum and Yorktown Battlefield.
