Course Description

Semi-Quincentennial Celebration: American Revolution of 1775-1776
Discover the basics for the start of the American Revolution. Study in detail the battles at Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, and the siege of Boston.  Also discuss the American colonies' preoccupation with Canada, including the ill-fated invasion of our neighbor to the north from 1775 to 1776. Investigation will briefly review the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the reasons behind it. Students will discuss in detail the New York Campaign of 1776 and the Trenton Campaign of 1776. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply
