Course Description

This class covers the German invasion of the France Low Countries in the spring and summer of 1940. The German’s were able to defeat France, one of the most powerful countries in the world in six weeks of campaigning. Answer the question why the French lost so quickly and how the Germans were able to win.  This course will examine, German, French and British military doctrine.  In addition, diplomacy and use of resources will be reviewed. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
