Course Description

 Get a jump start on those holiday gifts and wow your family and friends this year with handmade gifts. Learn to create simple projects such as coffee cup sleeves, travel tissue covers, pillowcases, and bowl cozies. Students learn about stabilizers, battings, rotary cutting and French seams. Basic sewing machine knowledge required. Bring your own sewing machine to class, if possible.

Section Notes

Get hands-on instructions on how to make a wristlet key fob, sunglass/eye glass case, tea wallet (for your tea loving friends), and a drawstring gift bag (perfect for a bottle of wine).  Students will be responsible for purchasing some of their supplies. A supply list will be provided prior to start of class. 
Sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, thread, one quarter inch foot is helpful but not required
