Course Description

The course emphasizes basic communication skills and awareness of what contributes to effective communication and miscommunication. Practice in verbal and listening techniques. Students will relate communication learning to all areas of life and career skills. Classroom discussions, activities, and experiments on a variety of topics are used as a basis for growing awareness of perception and skills in everyday communication. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
