SM 5093 - Scuba Certification (SDI)

Course Description

This course teaches the basics of safe scuba diving, including academic and in the water skills training. You will get to know the equipment, the physics and physiology of safe diving, and the marine life and oceanography of the open water under the guidance of a certified professional instructor. You must have basic swimming skills, be reasonably fit, and at least 16 years of age. After successful completion of this course, you will be an SDI certified Scuba Diver. Students must purchase or own the basic gear required for this class, including mask, snorkel, fins, and booties. Check out dives will be held at local quarry. Check out fees are not included.
