Course Description

This class prepares you for the nation CDA assessment by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, DC. You will review the different functional areas by developing your professional portfolio. This class should be taken after the completion of the first 90 training hours required for the CDA (The Young Child and Materials & Curriculum). This course provides 30 hours of the 120 hours of training required for the application for CDA Preschool Certification. Students must purchase the Preschool Edition of the CDA Competency Standards.  This is an online class, but students should be prepared to meet virtually with the instructor throughout the course.
