Course Description

Apply the new knowledge and skills you gained as you learn the assessment and pre-hospital management of a variety of common respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, endocrine, and environmental emergencies. This course also provides an overview of the mechanisms and prehospital management of a variety of traumatic injuries involving the head, neck, spine, thorax, and abdominal cavities; burns; shock; and basic 3 lead and 12 lead electrocardiography acquisition and interpretation. No additional textbook purchase required. Prerequisite: EMS Assessment Based Management. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply. Transcript available.
