Course Description

Unique situations require specialized care and management. Discover the different approaches needed for the advanced prehospital management of obstetrical, neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric emergencies. Also explores issues related to chronic-care clients, victims of abuse/assault, and other challenges. Additional topics include assessment-based management, operations, incident management, and terrorist attacks. No additional textbook purchase required. Prerequisites: Paramedic Trauma Emergencies and Paramedic Medical Emergencies. Senior adult and disabled retiree course fee waivers apply. Transcript available.
