Course Description

Dave Correll, Head PGA Professional at Ruggles Golf Course, and Rik Bond, PGA Director of Golf at Aberdeen Proving Ground, have years of teaching and playing experience to help you learn and develop your golf game. Basic fundamentals will be covered such as grip, posture, stance and alignment. Also, etiquette, terminology, and different shot techniques will be covered including full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, and bunker play. Most importantly, students will learn skills that will help them enjoy the game of golf - from making a tee time to keeping pace and selecting the correct equipment. All class sessions will be held at Ruggles Golf Course located outside the gate of Aberdeen Proving Ground. Ruggles is an 18-hole championship golf course with many amenities including one of the finest grass practice ranges in the area as well as a fully-stocked shop and dining facility.
